I think (er...hope!) that keeping a blog will be a good way to keep all of you updated on the happenings in this wonderfully crazy life we live. :) (I mean crazy in a good, child-related way...not the straight-jacket, white rubber room kind of crazy...although that could happen, too!)
Possibly my biggest day-to-day struggle with being a mom is the fighting that occurs between Noah & Sophie. Deep down, I know that they just have to love each other, even if they don't seem like they do. And when I really analyze the situation, I know their fighting is simply due to having such opposite and extreme temperaments...while these are a struggle when it comes to parenting, I know those very same traits are what will help them to do great things with their adult lives. But, sometimes I wonder where we've gone wrong that we don't have this perfectly harmonious life. Over the 4th of July we went on a camping trip and I was able to capture this wonderful picture that set aside all of my fears. YES! They DO love each other. :) All is right with the world and I am at peace, if only for a second.

Crazy is nice - it is quite in my padded white 6 x 6.
Sorry daydreaming! Love the family photo. Too bad you weren't able to get a whole family one. Try placing your finger just a little over the lens next time - that way later the kids can say 'Mom was with us. There is mom's finger'.
